The Volunteer Literacy Project relies on our rigorously trained team of volunteers to teach reading to our adult students. Would you like to join us?

Background

Volunteers do not need a background in education. We provide training and curriculum.

Requirements

• Computer and reliable internet connection.

• Ability to commit to weekly tutoring sessions for at least one year.

• Willingness to learn and follow our curriculum.

• Willingness to go through a 6 week training and follow-up coaching sessions.

• Ability to reliably pronounce vowel sounds with an American accent.
